Scott Olewine of Warren County recently joined the Northern Pennsylvania Regional College board.
Olewine earned his bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania and holds several professional designations from The American College. Olewine is the founder and managing partner of Olewine Financial Group LLC in Warren.
“It’s an honor to be part of an institution that invests in our rural communities by making a quality education affordable and accessible to everyone,” Olewine said.
His current community and volunteer service includes being a board member for the Struthers Library Theatre. He previously served as a board member and the entertainment chair for the Conewango Club and on the board of Hospice of Warren County.
“The NPRC Board of Trustees is excited to welcome Scott,” said Jamie Evens, NPRC board chair. “He brings a community focus and long-standing connections to the areas we serve, building on our goal of representation from each of the 10 counties in our primary service area. We believe his experience, skills, and knowledge will be beneficial to both the board and administration as we move the College forward into the next stage of our strategic plan.”
