Sheffield teen earns Eagle Scout Rank

Isaac Hammerbeck of Boy Scout Troop 35 in Sheffield recently earned his Eagle Scout and was awarded it at his Eagle Scout Court of Honor.

Isaac’s Court of Honor was held at the Sheffield VFW Post 8755.

Hammerbeck’s Eagle Scout project was a revitalization of the Sheffield Rotary Picnic Area on Route 6 in Sheffield and involved painting of the pavilion, stairs, picnic tables and grills and also installing a new gravel floor. Donations for the project were received from Snell Landscaping and Lowe’s.

Isaac is the son of Tommy and Erin Hammerbeck and brother of Noah Hammerbeck, all of Sheffield.

State Rep. Kathy Rapp, R-Warren, and Sen. Scott Hutchinson, R-Oil City, were in attendance and presented Isaac with citation awards for his accomplishments.

Isaac is a senior at Warren High School and hopes to continue his education in the medical field and utilize the skills and knowledge he has gained from his scouting career to succeed in his future life endeavors.
