Rotary Club to host annual fundraiser Jan. 31

Submitted to Times Observer Dr. Verlynn Kleppe of Whole Health Chiropractic Center is setting sail for the Warren Rotary Club’s Annual Fundraiser.

The Warren Rotary Club will continue fundraising for its work at Lacy Park on Jan. 31 with a Caribbean-themed fundraiser.

On Friday, Jan. 31, from 6:30 to 11 p.m., the Warren Rotary Club will be setting sail at the Conewango Club, 201 Market St., with its “Gamblers of the Caribbean Casino Night” event featuring several table games, prizes and giveaways.

All proceeds from this annual fundraiser will be dedicated to supporting the Rotary Club’s extensive youth programming in the area. This is vital to the community for things such as scholarships for students at the Northern Pennsylvania Regional College (NPRC) as well as funding leadership camps for teens, supporting Free Books for Kidstown and also for food assistance to local students in need.

“Our goal is to create an evening that is as impactful as it is entertaining,” said Ruby Stone of the Warren Rotary Club. “Every ticket sold helps us continue our work with the Lacy Multi-Sensory Playground and other initiatives that directly benefit the next generation in Warren.”

Advanced tickets are $25 per person or $30 per person at the door. Cost includes entrance fee, glass of tropical punch, appetizers and desserts. Those attending can go dressed as their favorite buccaneer to enter the costume contest. Tickets are available now and can be purchased online at: rotaryclubofwarrenpa.com.

Starting at $3.50/week.
