This year’s parade, which lasted almost for nearly an hour, brought with it an abundance of bright lights, festive decorations and a sense of holiday spirit.
Grand Marshal Melinda Johnson, Executive Director of the Jefferson DeFrees Family Center, kicked off the parade decked in a crown and cape.
Among the many memorable entries, there were a few standouts. The Warren County Fair participated with a float designed to look like a gingerbread house which was pulled by a tractor wrapped in Christmas lights.
Another crowd favorite was Koebley Towing, who successfully managed to capture the Grinch and suspend him inside a cage which hung from a tow truck.

The parade came to a close in the yearly tradition with the final float carrying Santa himself. Once Santa arrived, he brought the ceremony to its official conclusion by lighting the Christmas tree, a moment that signaled the start of the holiday season for everyone gathered.
