SUGAR GROVE — A structure fire broke out on Teal Hill Road on Monday at approximately 9:30 a.m.

Shortly after the Youngsville Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire, additional crews were dispatched to a reported structure fire at the Teal Hill Road location.

Upon arrival, crews reported a single-story residential structure with smoke showing from both gable ends and the roof.

Firefighters quickly went to work, deploying a handline. Crews were able to achieve a rapid knockdown of the fire, successfully containing it to the area of origin.

Multiple fire departments responded to and assisted at the scene, including Lander, Wrightsville, Bear Lake, Russell, City of Warren, Busti, Youngsville and Sugar Grove. Fire Coordinators Doug McClain and Jordan Bailey were also on scene, along with Koebley Towing, providing support during the incident.
