Eve activities include blood drive, celebrations

Here are some activities to assist in the community or ring in the new year later this evening.
— The Holy Redeemer Church is having a Holiday Blood Drive from 8 to 11 a.m. All donors will receive Erie Otter tickets and Arbor Coffee House vouchers. Walk-ins are welcome; must be at least 17 years old or 16 with parental consent. Must weigh at least 110 pounds with no tattoo or piercings in the past 3 months, in general good health and eat before donating, photo ID is required.
— Twig & Vine in downtown Warren at 344 Pennsylvania Ave. West, will be holding a New Year’s Eve Masquerade party from 7 p.m. today to 12:30 a.m. Thursday. No reservations required, no cover charge and tux and gown are not required to enjoy an atmosphere of mystery, glamour and intrigue. Free champagne toast at midnight.
— Bent Run Brewery is open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. today with Sweet Jane live from 6-9 p.m. A lighted Keg Drop at 9 p.m. in order to celebrate, sip and stay safe to be home before midnight.
— Praise Fellowship Church in Russell will be hosting a “Cover to Cover” event beginning on New Years Eve, beginning with fellowship at 7:30, communion and prayer at 9:30 and then at 10 p.m. The Bible will be read from cover to cover, straight through with an anticipated finish time of Sunday Jan. 4th in the afternoon.
