Another special veteran is Ron Farnham. Ron is a Vietnam Era Vet who was drafted into the U.S. Army from Warren County, and branched Infantry. He served our country well and faithfully during his term of enlistment and lived his life as a humble example of a silent, professional, Warrior. Ron passed away in 2020, but his legacy of service lives on in his grandson, Nathan Picot, who serves in the West Virginia Army National Guard as well as is a student-cadet in the West Virginia University Army ROTC program as the Corps of Cadets Command Sergeant Major.
