WARREN — The Warren County Commissioners approved the lease of Youngsville High School on Wednesday.

The Commissioners emphasized this lease would allow for a one year period to withdraw from the lease. According to a press release from the Commissioners, some organizations are interested in the building. However, no decisions or commitments have been made at this time.

“At the end of one year, we would make a decision whether we are interested in moving forward,” said Commissioner Ken Klamp.

The lease was approved earlier this month by the Warren County School District, and the Revitalization of Youngsville and Youngsville Borough both previously backed the lease.

The Commissioners will now begin a planning process by creating a request for proposals. This plan will include services such as architecture, building utilization and engineering.

The Commissioner’s press release and a document of frequently asked questions are available on the city’s website.

Starting at $3.50/week.
