Warren man faces 56 felony child sex assault charges

A Warren man faces 78 felony charges that include rape of a child and statutory sexual assault on two separate criminal dockets.

Kelly M. Kuzminski, 44, of Warren was arraigned Friday by Magisterial District Court Judge Laura Bauer and jailed on $100,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Wednesday in front of Judge Bauer.

Kuzminski is charged with 12 counts of first-degree felony rape of a child, four counts of first-degree felony statutory sexual assault: 11 years older; 12 counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, four counts of first-degree felony involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a person less than 16 years of age; six counts of second-degree felony aggravated indecent assault – less than 13 years old; four counts of second-degree felony aggravated indecent assault – less than 16 years of age; six counts of third-degree felony indecent assault person less than 13 years of age; two counts of indecent assault person less than 16 years of age; and six counts of third-degree felony corruption of minors defendant age 18 or above.

The incidents date back to June 1, 2018. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause filed by the State Police at Warren, a local trooper from the Warren barracks was assigned to the case on Sept. 25 regarding a child welfare report to law enforcement. The girl making the complaint was forensically interviewed Oct. 6 at the The CARE Center of Indiana County, Pa., an agency that handles cases similar to the Warren County Child Advocacy Center.

The girl said she had been sexually abused from the ages of 6 and 14 at addresses in Pittsfield and Pleasant townships before ending in August 2025. She described a litany of sexual acts that are recounted in the affidavit that allegedly took place between the ages of 6 and 14. The State Police at Warren charges deal with offenses that allegedly took place in Pittsfield Township.

A second set of charges was filed by the State Police at Corry on Monday regarding charges in Pleasant Township. Kuzminski was arraigned in front of Magisterial District Judge Todd Woodin on Monday afternoon. Woodin set bail at $250,000. Charges filed Monday include two counts of first-degree rape of a child, two counts of first-degree felony statutory sexual assault of a child 11 years older; four counts of first-degree felony involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child; six counts of first-degree felony unlawful contact with a minor – sexual offenses; two counts of incest of a minor – complainant under 13 years of age; and six counts of third-degree felony corruption of minors – defendant age 18 or above.
