County follows statewide trend of higher GOP enrollment
 
								Warren County’s electoral map is a deeper shade of red as county residents prepare to vote on Tuesday.
There are 6,349 registered Democrats (25.1%) in Warren County, 15,174 registered Republicans (60.1%), 2,481 registered without a party affiliation (9.8%) and another 1,263 (5%) registered as “other.” Since Jan. 1, 2024, Democratic Party enrollment has decreased by 541 voters in Warren County while Republican Party enrollment has increased by 209 voters and Independent voters are up 110 voters.
According to state Board of Elections statistics, 44 Republicans have flipped their registration to Democrat while 39 Republicans have changed their registration to “other.” At the same time, 72 Democrats have changed their registration to Republican and another 66 have changed their registration to “other.”
According to a recent analysis by Politics PA, the gap between Democrats and Republicans continues to shrink statewide. There are 8.9 million registered voters in Pennsylvania, 42.8% of whom are enrolled as Democrats and 49.9% enrolled as Republicans. The difference statewide is about 170,000 voters. Independents continue to grow, as 12.7% checked the “no affiliation” box.
Since last October, Democrats have seen approximately 158,000 voters fall off their rolls, while the GOP has only lost about 30,000 – a difference of 128,000. Percentage-wise, that translates to a 3.97% loss by Democrats and a 1.84% reduction in Republican registered voters, according to Politics PA.
