Warren man jailed after Pittsfield home invasion

PITTSFIELD – A Warren man has been jailed after an alleged burglary in Pittsfield Township on Tuesday.

Christian S. Iverson Jr., 44, of Warren was charged with first-degree felony burglary – overnight accommodations, person present, third-degree felony criminal trespass – entering structure, DUI/unsafe driving and a traffic citation by the State Police at Warren on Tuesday. Iverson was arraigned Tuesday by Magisterial District Judge Raymond Zydonik, who set bail at $35,000. Iverson was unable to post bail and was taken to the Warren County Prison.

“Iverson climbed over a fence and entered the victim’s residence through a sliding glass door,” the Affidavit of Probable Cause states. “Iverson did not leave the residence until the victim called PA State Police. When we arrived, Iverson had already run from the house. He was apprehended at the Garland Post Office.”
