Today, we get to meet Theodora “Dora” Turner Linkerhof, Co-Owner of Chernois & Turner Anchor Advisors, LLC.

For Theodora “Dora” Turner Linkerhof, Russell isn’t just where she grew up–it’s where she’s chosen to live, raise her family, and build a business dedicated to helping others. Born and raised in Russell, Dora has always felt a deep connection to her community, attending Russell Elementary, Eisenhower High School, and graduating from Warren Area High School before heading off to earn degrees from the University of Pittsburgh and St. Bonaventure University.

Today, Dora is a proud co-owner of Cheronis & Turner Anchor Advisors, LLC, a company she founded in 2018 with her uncle and business partner, James Cheronis. Together, they help clients navigate health insurance options, including Medicare and under-65 coverage. Since 2024, she has also been an agent with New York Life under the guidance of Scott Olewine at Olewine Financial Group, expanding the range of solutions she can offer.

“I love that I’m able to be a beacon of stress relief in people’s lives,” Dora said. “Whether someone is retiring, starting a new job, or just moved to the area, we work together to find a personalized, creative solution. No two clients are the same–and that’s what makes this work so rewarding.”

In addition to her professional roles, Dora wears many other hats. She’s a dedicated member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Jamestown, N.Y., where she serves as a chanter and volunteers annually at the church’s Yassou Festival, a beloved cultural event that draws over 3,000 visitors each June.

Dora’s passion for the arts and education also runs deep. She currently serves as the Board President of Warren County Summer Music School, a long-running three-week arts enrichment program each June for local students.

“I’ve been part of Summer Music School since I was in fifth grade,” Dora shared. “Now I get to help lead this amazing organization that brings music, dance, visual arts, and theater to 150 kids each year with the help of dedicated teachers, interns, and volunteers. It’s such a joy to give back to a program that meant so much to me growing up.”

But for all her professional and volunteer commitments, Dora’s proudest role is at home–with her husband, Caleb Linkerhof, who recently joined the family business as a Medicare Insurance Agent, and their one-and-a-half-year-old daughter, Antonia.

“Antonia keeps us on our toes and brings so much joy to our lives,” Dora said with a smile. “She’s best friends with our dog, Kida, and the two of them are pretty much inseparable. Life is busy, but incredibly fulfilling.”

Whether she’s guiding a client through retirement planning, helping organize arts programming for youth, or sharing homemade Greek pastries with neighbors at the Yassou Festival, Dora Turner Linkerhof is a shining example of what it means to live a life rooted in service, family, and community.
