The Warren Public Library is hosting its first “Design an Ornament” contest, inviting children ages 8 to 12 to use their creative skills to celebrate the season with their very own original artwork.
Young artists can pick up an official entry form and ornament template at the Main Desk through Saturday, Sept. 13. Completed designs must be submitted by the end of the day on September 13 to be eligible.
The winning design will be turned into a real ornament, professionally printed and sold at the Warren Public Library beginning in November, while supplies last.
“This exciting new annual contest is a great way for kids to express their creativity, be recognized by their community, and even see their design brought to life,” said Sara Emiston, Warren Public Library director. “Don’t miss your chance to be part of a fun new tradition — ornament stock will be limited and sure to go fast.”
