The 12th annual Scandia Mountain Open to benefit the Scandia Volunteer Fire Department will take place Saturday, Aug. 16, at Blueberry Hill Golf Course. Tee times start at 7 a.m. All golfer money goes to the prize fund once greens fees and dinner costs are paid. Minimum payouts are $500 for the top scratch division team, $300 for the top scratch mixed/ladies top team, $300 for the HC Division top team as well as second and third place prizes in the HC division and hole prizes. The cost is $95 per golfer or $75 for members. The price includes hot dogs, pop and water at the turn. After golf there will be a cook your own steak dinner.
