I Heart Cookies food truck visiting Wednesday

The famed I Heart Cookies food truck is making its way to Warren, with hours from 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, in the Lowe’s parking lot.

I Heart Cookies began as a retail bakery and then a simple cookies and ice cream food truck in the spring of 2021 by Rachel Marlow of Wichita, Kan. From those beginning came a traveling sweet shop. After receiving good response locally with the truck she started visiting places she had never been before.

“With traveling every day is different.” Marlow said.

The reception was all positive. It was then Marlow decided to focus on the mobile aspect and venture out further. In 2022 with the first year under her belt a decision was made to add an entertainment component to her traveling confections. And so it began.

” I HEART COOKIES AND…”

Photos submitted to the Times Observer A previous I Heart Cookies And Dinosaurs set-up is pictured. The event will stop in Warren on Wednesday.

First it was Transformers, with characters like Bumblebee, Megatron and Optimus Prime along with character performances hitting Marlow’s deep dish cookie scene. The Autobots and Decepticons battling it out on screen were brought, larger than life, to I Heart Cookie events. October 2024 found dinosaurs and activities that will be in Warren hitting the road.

Along with her deep dish cookies, the I Heart Cookies stop in Warren will include two 10-foot-tall T-Rexes, a gigantic triceratops, five raptors, a stegosaurus and baby dinosaurs too. Children can play, sit and ride on dinosaurs in the Raptor Enclosure and dig like archeologists in the fossil pit. The dinosaur theme wraps up at the end of the year and what’s coming up for 2026 is being kept hush-hush for now. Plans are in the works for increasing the entertainment side of things with more interactive activities.

“Our goal every time we visit (again) is that it’s something bigger and better,” Marlow said. “We want to have something people are willing to mark their calendars for.”

COOKIE TALK

Marlow features 10 flavors of deep dish cookies in 10 flavors, made from scratch, hand scooped and individually decorated cookies. One $5 cookie purchase equals one admission for each attendee. Cash and cards will be accepted. “You don’t have to eat it immediately,” Marlow said.

With no time restrictions imposed, visitors are welcome to stay as long as they’d like. I Heart Cookies and Dinosaurs will be set up on Saturday, Aug. 16, in the Runnings parking lot in Jamestown.
