Papa Johns opening location in Warren

Nadeem Bajwa, who is opening a Papa Johns Pizza in Warren, is the largest franchisee with the business.
Papa Johns Pizza, a popular pizza chain, has announced plans to open in the city.
Nadeem Bajwa, Papa Johns Pizza franchise owner and CEO of the Bajco Group, said he is excited to open a new location at 2813 Market St.
“We’re thrilled to bring Papa Johns to Warren,” Bajwa said. “Our goal is to provide residents with the same high-quality pizzas and sides that the brand is known for, while offering exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere.”
He said they are currently in the process of getting permits approved for renovations.
“It takes months, depending on what needs to be built or renovated,” Bajwa said. “We felt the location would work well because there is some new construction happening around the site. Opening by August 14 will bring in a lot of walk-in traffic.” The company also offers delivery to a specified radius.
Bajwa said they will be offering the standard Papa Johns menu, which can be viewed on their website www.papajohns.com
He said they live by their slogan, “better ingredients, better pizza.” What makes Papa Johns special, he said, is that they use premium toppings and fresh never frozen dough.
“We believe our pizza is better than our competitors,” Bajwa said. “Whether you’re talking about flavor or quality, our product is better, with a competitive price and aggressive Rewards & Loyalty Program. We provide our consumers a better value for their money.”
He started as a Papa Johns delivery driver. In 2002, he opened his first location as a franchise owner. Now the group owns more than 275 locations, being the largest franchisee in the Papa Johns system.
“Local communities are the ones that make our business successful,” Bajwa said. “We believe strongly in giving back to the community. We will be engaging with non-profit organizations, the chamber, churches, schools, youth organizations. … Whatever we can help.”
Bajwa said they are in the process of planning a grand opening party. It will be a lot of fun with things like free slices at kick off, pizza for a year drawing, giveaways, contests, live radio broadcasts, and much more.
“We are confident that we can get open next week,” he said.
