Laurie West of Warren has something to celebrate after winning the summer 50/50 raffle hosted by Key Moments Child Care Center.

West took home $1,500 after purchasing the ticket from the family of Rowynn Tubbs, a child currently enrolled at the center.

The raffle was part of an ongoing fundraising effort by Key Moments to support classroom supplies and learning materials for its young learners. The center, located in Warren, offers full-time childcare for children ages six weeks to six years.

“We really appreciate everyone who took part,” said Madison Gurdak, director of Key Moments. “It helps us keep doing great things for the kids.”

Money raised will directly benefit the center’s classrooms, ensuring a rich learning environment for the children it serves. Key Moments is a part of the Don Mills Achievement Center, which supports youth and families through various educational programs and services.
