A new handicapped accessible kayak and canoe launch has opened at Chapman State Park. Work and fundraising were carried out by the Friends of Chapman State Park and the maintenance staff at Chapman State Park. A ribbon cutting was held recently that included demonstrations of the proper way to utilize the new launch.
