County history awards presented

The Warren County Historical Society has awarded its 2025 Warren County History Award recipients.
Each student is selected for their achievement as an outstanding student of history and receives a one-year membership to the historical society along with a monetary scholarship.
The 2025 Warren County History Award recipients are Cali Chapman of Eisenhower High School, who plans to attend the University of Pittsburgh to study history and Education with plans to become a high school history teacher; Sarah Hoffman of Sheffield Area Middle/High School; Michael Carnahan of Youngsville High School, who is enrolled in the early start program at Virginia Tech to study engineering; Noel Alexander of Warren Area High School, who will be attending Penn State University for her undergraduate degree in biochemistry followed by medical school to become a pediatric endocrinologist; and Darrion Craig of Tidioute Community Charter School, who will be attending Slippery Rock University to study secondary education and minor in film.
