Warren man sentenced to state prison

A Warren man has been sentenced to up to 5 years in state prison after not registering with the Pennsylvania State Police

Christopher L. Gage of Warren was sentenced by Judge Maureen Skerda on June 20 to a $1,250 fine and between 19 months and 5 years in state prison after pleading guilty to an amended charge of failure to register with the Pennsylvania State Police, a second-degree felony. Gage faced a similar charge of transient – fail to register with state police in 2023 in Brokenstraw Township.

– Monica L. Rose was sentenced to a $300 fine, a 12-month driver’s license suspension, six months restrictive intermediate punishment to include 5 days in the Warren County Jail, attendance in an Alcohol Highway Safety School and Victims Impact Panel, 45 days community service and traffic fines to satisfy a guilty plea to DUI: general impairment – incapable of safe driving – second offense and three traffic citations.

– Ian Royo was sentenced to a $500 fine, $27.87 in restitution to CVS, no contact with CVS, 24 months probation, drug, alcohol and mental health treatment and 150 hours of community service after pleading guilty to retail theft.

– Randon S. Servesko was sentenced to a $1,000 fine, 12-month driver’s license suspension, six months restrictive intermediate punishment to include 72 hours house arrest and 30 days daily reporting, attendance in an Alcohol Highway Safety School and Victims Impact Panel, 45 hours community service, drug and alcohol treatment and traffic fines after pleading pleaded guilty to DUI: combined alcohol and drug or combination of drugs and a traffic citation.

– Jeremiah A. Smith of Warren was sentenced to a $750 fine, five years restrictive intermediate punishment to include 5 months in the Warren County Jail counting 113 days time served, a no contact order and a drug, alcohol and mental health evaluation after pleading guilty to a charge of third-degree criminal trespass.

– Kaylee N. Smith of Sheffield was sentenced to a $500 fine, two years restrictive intermediate punishment to include 30 days in the Warren County Jail and three months house arrest with electronic monitoring, mental health treatment, anger management treatment, a parenting class and 50 hours community service after pleading guilty to a charge of simple assault.

– Sabrina Sturges of Warren was sentenced to a $250 fine and 50 hours community service after pleading guilty to accidents involving damage to attended vehicle or property; a $750 fine, 12-month driver’s license suspension, six months restrictive intermediate punishment to include 15 days in the Warren County Jail and 15 days house arrest with electronic monitoring, 30 hours community service, attendance in an Alcohol Highway Safety School and Victims Impact Panel, and outpatient drug and alcohol treatment after pleading guilty to DUI: general impairment incapable of safe driving with accident – second offense; and traffic fines.

– Christa M. Sudul was sentenced on five separate dockets. She was sentenced to a $500 fine, 18 months probation, 60 hours community service and COG programming after pleading guilty to theft by unlawful taking. She was then sentenced to 80 hours community service after pleading guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia. Sudul was sentenced to a $600 fine and a no contact order after pleading guilty to theft by unlawful taking. A fourth docket was not prosecuted after sentencing. On the fifth docket, Sudul was sentenced to a $500 fine, 18 months probation to run consecutively to her previous probation sentence, after pleading guilty to theft by unlawful taking as well as two sentences of 45 to 90 days in the Warren County Jail, to run consecutively and counting time served, after pleading guilty to two counts of theft of mail.

– Danielle Thornton was sentenced to a $1,000 fine, a 12-month driver’s license suspension, two years restrictive intermediate punishment to include 72 hours in the Warren County Jail, counting time served, attendance in an Alcohol Highway Safety School and Victims Impact Panel, an intensive outpatient program, 100 hours of community service and a traffic fine after pleading guilty to a charge of DUI: controlled substances – Schedule 2-3 with juvenile passenger – first offense and a traffic citation.

– Ashley R. Vantassel of Warren was sentenced to a $500 fine, 12 months probation, drug and alcohol treatment and 40 hours community service after pleading guilty to an amended charge of theft by deception.

A bench warrant was issued for Autumn Rudolph after she failed to appear in sentencing court after previously pleading guilty to possession/sale/use/display documents and possession of a controlled substance.

Sentencing for Aaron Nazario, who had previously pleaded guilty to theft by unlawful taking and third-degree felony criminal conspiracy (criminal trespass) was postponed after the defense attorney asked for, and was granted, a continuance by Skerda.

Sentencing for Alicia M. Ordiway was postponed after an oral motion for a continuance by the defense was granted by Skerda. Ordiway previously pleaded guilty of financial exploitation of an older adult, a class 3 felony.
