Clarendon woman sentenced to eight years in prison

A Clarendon woman faces at least a maximum of eight years in prison after a litany of sexual offenses for allegedly having sex with a 14-year-old male “hundreds of times.”

Chyna R. Repine was sentenced recently by Judge Maureen Skerda in the Court of Common Pleas after pleading guilty to five of the five charges 28 counts against her: first-degree statutory sexual assault: 11 years or older; second-degree felony sexual assault, third-degree felony corruption of minors – defendant age 18 or above and second-degree misdemeanor indecent assault of a person less than 16 years of age.

On the charge of first-degree statutory sexual assault: 11 years or older, Repine was sentence to between 20 and 40 months in prison, with a maximum of three years. She was sentenced to between 50 and 100 moths in prison for the charge of second-degree felony sexual assault, with a maximum of three years. Those sentences will run concurrently.

Repine was then sentenced to between 6 and 12 months in prison on the charge of third-degree felony corruption of minors – defendant age 18 or above and a maximum of 2 years to satisfy her guilty plea to second-degree misdemeanor indecent assault of a person less than 16 years of age.

Repine also pleaded guilty to a charge of corruption of minors on a second docket. She was sentenced to between 4 months and 2 years in prison.

The investigation began after Conewango Township Police received a report from the juvenile’s mother, who received screenshots that allegedly showed the juvenile drinking with Repine. In an initial interview, the juvenile admitted drinking while Repine was in the room but did not disclose any sexual contact but an interview with a third party occurred in September. That individual disclosed that Repine and the juvenile “began hanging out a lot and ‘smoking weed,'” the affidavit of probable cause states.

The affidavit alleges that the third party “became suspicious that something might be going on” between the juvenile and Repine. That individual told police that Repine allegedly told her that sexual contact with the minor resulted in a pregnancy that was terminated.

Police met with the juvenile again in September and allege in the affidavit that the young man was “very honest and articulate.”

The juvenile allegedly told police that he and Repine began “flirting” around Christmas and that they allegedly had sex in the following days. He told police that “it became a regular thing” and that “she (Repine) would also purchase marijuana from the reservation in New York State and they would ‘smoke weed’ every day he was there.'” He also allegedly told police that sexual contact occurred “hundreds of times.”

Police then filed corruption of a minor charge after Repine sent a 15-year-old nude and partially nude photos via Snapchat. A Conewango Township police officer contacted Warren police saying the juvenile’s mother was able to access her son’s cellular device and iCloud storage. A search warrant was granted, with data received from Snapchat on Dec. 6 that police say confirmed Repine had sent material to the juvenile.

“”By doing so, she was able to obtain messages and photos between the defendant and the victim which contained nude and partially nude photographs of the defendant,” the Affidavit of Probable Cause states. “Further, she was able to obtain that the victim and the defendant were together recently as the victim was wearing clothing that she had just purchased for him.”
