The Warren County Visitors Bureau is awarding grants to 16 local events as part of a concerted effort to boost tourism and promote Warren County as a premier destination within the Pennsylvania Wilds region.
Each selected event will receive up to $500 in reimbursements for advertising directed outside of Warren County, along with a $50 gift certificate to Quick Solutions, a local business specializing in promotional materials and custom merchandise.
“We’re excited to work with Quick Solutions as a new initiative this year,” said Casey Ferry, executive director of the WCVB. “Quick Solutions, located right here in Warren, can do anything from make copies to produce a variety of custom swag. This is a double bonus – it helps the events promote themselves while supporting a local business. Quick Solutions is a wonderful asset to our community, and we hope this encourages more people to check them out.”
The grant program underscores the WCVB’s ongoing mission to stimulate tourism and economic growth in Warren County through education, promotion, marketing, and cooperative partnerships.
By providing financial support for out-of-county advertising and promotional needs, the bureau hopes to increase overnight stays and visitor spending in the region.
“Supporting these events not only showcases the vibrant culture and community spirit of Warren County but also plays a crucial role in attracting visitors from neighboring regions,” Ferry added. “Our research shows that festivals and events are a major contributor to Warren County tourism, second only to outdoor recreation. Our goal is to stimulate economic growth through tourism, and these grants are a step toward achieving that.”
The WCVB’s Board of Directors selected this year’s grant recipients based on each event’s growing popularity and its proven ability to draw visitors into the area. The 2025 grant recipients are: Books for Kids Town Interactive Festival, Touch A Truck, Wilder Museum Fashion Flaunt, Warren County Pride, Tidioute WWII Days: The Bridge at Remagen, Warren County 4th of July Celebrations, Allegheny Mountain Championship Rodeo, Music on the Mountain, Kinzua Country Tango, Tidioute Fun Days, Warren County Fair, Kinzua Heritage Festival, WildWind Festival, PA State Championship Fishing Tournament, Trail Fest, and Lander Sportsmen’s Bash
These events reflect the diverse attractions that Warren County has to offer, from cultural celebrations to historic reenactments and outdoor adventures.
