Steve Parinella

Steve Parinella, a former teacher, administrator and coach in Warren County, is running for the Region 1 position on the Warren County School District Board of Education.

Parinella said he wants to focus on strengthening schools, supporting educators and empowering students while also supporting fiscal responsibility.

“Our children deserve the best possible education, and our community deserves a school system that is an asset and one that reflects our values and aspirations,” Parinella said. “I am committed to ensuring that every student has the opportunity to thrive, and I believe we can achieve this without placing an additional burden on taxpayers.”

Parinella ‘s platform centers on three key goals:

Strengthening Schools: By maximizing existing resources and identifying areas for efficiency, Parinella aims to improve the quality of education without raising taxes. This includes a focus on smart spending and prioritizing spending that directly helps student learning.

Supporting Educators: Recognizing the vital role of teachers and building administrators, Parinella said he is committed to providing them with the necessary resources and professional development opportunities. This support will be achieved through exploring partnerships and grant opportunities, rather than increasing the tax burden.

Empowering Students: Parinella believes in empowering every student to reach their full potential. This includes ensuring access to quality education, innovative programs, and the support they need to succeed, all while being mindful of taxpayer dollars.

“I am dedicated to financial responsibility and transparency,” Parinella emphasized. “I will work diligently to ensure that every taxpayer dollar is spent wisely and that our school budget is accountable to the community. Before considering any tax increases, we must thoroughly examine our current spending and ensure we are utilizing our resources efficiently.”
