The generosity of Warren County residents – and those with ties to the region – has once again made history.

The Community Foundation of Warren County has announced that the 2025 Warren Gives event surpassed the $1 million mark, setting a new record for this annual day of giving. The total amount raised from donations and match pool sponsorships exceeded $1,000,000, outpacing last year’s record of $942,552.

All 110 participating nonprofit organizations received donations during the event, with contributions flowing in from donors in 45 states across the country. Since its inception, Warren Gives has served as a testament to the community’s strong philanthropic spirit–and this year’s results continue to affirm that reputation.

“The immense generosity of the Warren County community is something we should all be very proud of,” said Mark King, executive director of the Community Foundation of Warren County.

“This generous outpouring of support shows the deep appreciation the community holds for these charitable causes that serve Warren County so well.”

One of the event’s hallmark features is that 100% of all donations go directly to the nonprofits selected by donors. The foundation covers all administrative and credit card processing fees, ensuring that every dollar makes its maximum impact. In addition, donations are boosted by a $75,000 match pool, which is shared proportionally among the recipients.

This year’s match pool was made possible by the support of local sponsors including the Community Foundation, DeFrees Family Memorial Fund, Betts Foundation, Calvert-Pearson Insurance, Crossett, Inc., Ellwood National Forge, Northwest Charitable Foundation, McComas Charitable Fund, Sara Sokolski Memorial Fund, Superior Tire & Rubber, and United Refining Company.

Full breakdowns of the amounts received by each organization will be shared during the upcoming Warren Gives Check Celebration, to be held Wednesday, June 4, at the Conewango Club. The celebration is expected to honor the hard work of the participating nonprofits and the donors who continue to support them year after year.
