There’s been a changing of the guard at the top of the Community Foundation of Warren County.

Tim Huber has taken over as chairman, succeeding John Hanna, who has led the Community Foundation for 38 years.

“I have known Tim and his family for many years and am excited to collaborate with him in his new role,” Community Foundation Executive Director Mark King, said. Tim’s extensive experience in business and non-profit sectors is incredibly valuable.

“It is particularly gratifying to see him continue his family’s legacy of service, following in the footsteps of his father, Jerry Huber, who devoted over 60 years of his life to the Community Foundation as executive director, board member and now a director emeritus.”

“Tim’s strong commitment to the community is evidenced by the time he has dedicated to serving on numerous community non-profit boards,” Hanna said. “His leadership ability has been proven by the fact he has been called to serve as Chairman on many of the Boards he has served on such as Warren General Hospital, the Warren County YMCA, the Rouse Estate, the City of Warren Redevelopment Authority, and the Warren County Industrial Development Authority, among others.”

“I am deeply honored by the Board’s trust in me and look forward to guiding the Foundation,” Huber said. “I want to extend my sincere thanks to John Hanna for his remarkable 38 years of service as chairman of the board.

“His leadership has been instrumental in the Foundation’s success, and I am glad that he will remain involved as a Board member.”

“I am confident that under his guidance, the Community Foundation will continue to grow and increase its ability to impact the quality of life in Warren County,” Hanna added.
