City of Warren fire crews responded to a kitchen fire at a Grant St. resident Wednesday night.
The department was dispatched to 206 Grant St. shortly after 10 p.m.
"The fire was contained to just a few contents inside the kitchen," City of Warren Deputy Fire Chief Jeremy Rulander said. "The smoke detector in the residence alerted the residents who were in bed.
"This notified the residents of the fire early and the residents were able to evacuate without any harm."
Rulander said that the fire was deemed accidental and "undeterminable" and no injuries were reported.
"Warren City Fire and Police were on the scene, and North Warren VFD and Pleasant VFD were requested to stand by at their respective stations," he added.
