Five guilty pleas entered during preliminary hearings

Five guilty pleas were entered and charges were withdrawn against three during preliminary hearings held over the last two weeks at the Warren County Courthouse.

Guilty pleas were entered by the following individuals:

Dylan M. Delafuente-Chavez, 21, Sheffield, to disorderly conduct, criminal mischief and public drunkenness.

Michael J. Fitzgerald, 45, Clarendon, to possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. A count of possession of drug paraphernalia was withdrawn.

Scottlynn R. Hackley, 19, Sugar Grove, to possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without a license. A count of possession of drug paraphernalia was withdrawn.

Daniel B. Hawley, 45, N. Tonawanda, N.Y., to possession of a controlled substance.

Kevin M. Hale, 54, Warren, to possession of drug paraphernalia. Two counts of possession of drug

paraphernalia were withdrawn.

Charges were withdrawn against the following:

Steven A. Marucci, 67, Jamestown, N.Y. Marucci had been charged with retail theft. A count of retail theft was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.

Amanda M. Slagter, 45, Olean, N.Y. Slagter had been charged with retail theft. A count of retail theft was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.

Richard J. Whaley, 76, Youngsville. Whaley had been charged with simple assault and harassment.
