WASU welcomes fifth-graders

The Warren Area Student Union welcomed approximately 140 fifth grade students for tours on May 2 and May 3. Stations were set up for the students to participate including Minute to Win it challenges, music and karaoke, games and reverse coloring. WASU is a non-profit organization that focuses on building on students’ ideas and creativity. It is open to students from grades five through 12 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on school days and, during the summer, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Students at WASU are also holding a play on June 9 at 6 p.m.
