Two charged with sexual offenses

Two men face sexual assault charges filed recently by the Pennsylvania State Police.

Gavin K. Munn, 18, 123 Baker Hill Rd., Corry, Pa., was charged by Warren-based state police on April 22.

The alleged incident occurred on April 22 shortly after 4 a.m. at a Route 426 residence.

Troopers received a call on April 22 shortly after 4 a.m. that alleged the discovery of a male in their granddaughter’s bedroom, according to an affidavit of probable cause.

Troopers made contact with the male, identified as Munn, who admitted to being intimate with the juvenile.

Troopers charged Gunn with sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault and two counts of indecent assault.

Bail was set at $10,000 Munn is being held in the county jail. Online court records indicate that Munn is “apparently homeless.”

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 1.

Hadley, Pa. man charged

Hunter G. Artman, 22, was charged by Corry-based Pennsylvania State Police on April 19 for an incident that allegedly occurred back in Feb.

The incident allegedly occurred at 37441 US 6, Freehold Township on Feb. 9 between 9 p.m. and Feb. 10 at 2:30 a.m.

A female victim contact state police regarding a sexual assault that occurred at the Galloping Inn.

During an interview, the victim alleged that she matched with Artman on Tinder (an online dating app) and was invited to meet him at the Galloping Inn, according to the affidavit of probable cause.

Troopers allege that Artman provided alcohol to the victim and a friend even though they were under 21 years old.

The affidavit states that Artman wanted to show the victim accessories to his horse and took her to a horse stall, where the alleged assault occurred. She was then in an office area of the barn with Artman, where he allegedly forced her to touch him.

Troopers charged Armtan with three counts of indecent assault, simple assault, false imprisonment and furnishing liquor to a minor.

A preliminary hearing is set for May 15 in this case.
