The event features a full slate of events, starting at 9 a.m. with the Run for R.O.A.R. 5K race at 9 a.m. and concluding with fireworks at 9:15 p.m.

Starting at 11 a.m., a vendor fair will include crafts, food, lemonade and other shopping options. The Russell VFD will be serving a chicken BBO from noon to 3 p.m. for $15. Those looking to preorder dinners can do so at russellvfd.square.site/#items.

A parade featuring many local organizations will touch off at 11 a.m., traveling from Woodlawn Drive down North Main Street and ending at the Russell VFD.

A Kids Zone will be found at the Russell United Methodist Church from 11 a.m to 3 p.m. including, among others, the Audubon Community Nature Center, Wild Creatures and a bounce house.

A classic car cruise-in will be held from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and registration for that will start at 2 p.m. at the corner of Pine Street and State Street.

The capstone event of the evening will include “Dancin’ on Main Street” with music from the Russell Roller Rink from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. with fireworks to light up the sky at 9:15 p.m.

The event will necessitate some street closures. North Main Street from Liberty Street to State Street and East Street from Pine Street to Conewango Street will be closed from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday.

South Main Street from Woodland Drive to Liberty Street will be limited to one lane from 8:45 a.m. to 10 a.m. and then closed from 10:30 a.m. to noon.
