Art in the Wilds is June 22-23
KANE – Kane’s Eighteenth Annual Art in the Wilds art show is in the works and this year’s artists and artisans have been confirmed.
The event will be held in Evergreen Park, Kane, on Saturday, June 22, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, June 23, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fine artists and artisans submitted applications and photos to a jury panel which reviewed each application and decided on the final slate of participants for the 2024 show.
Artists were chosen for the quality of their work. The panel also considers balancing the variety of media and the suitability for the show. The following artists were selected: Ceramics/Pottery, Pamela Gifford, Lana Heckendorn, Krysta Robinson, Amanda Wolf, and Francine Zajac; Fiber arts, Pam Bartl, Debbie Penley, Jill Rouke and Rachel Stine; Glass, Karen Fitzpatrick, Amy Hahn and Kalpana Lehman; Jewelry, Colette Anderson, Mimi Antonetti, Sarah Binder, Laura Gooley, John Gulyas and Maryann Posch, Christina Krautz, Deborah Moyer and Kaylee Taylor; Leather, Elie Abdelahad; Mixed Media, Dawn Johnson; Painting/Drawing, Lisa Arkus, Chandler Beatty, Denise Drummond, Laura Gardner, Jack Paluh, Ellen Paquette and Craig Peterson; Photography, Jane Axman, Larry Downey, Rocky Holland and Gene Pembroke; Sculpture, Anthony Arkus, Mark English and, wood, Juree Cain, Gregg Kristophel, Jack Northrop, and Robert Vrboncic.
