County law enforcement remain tight-lipped about an officer involved shooting that occurred in Freehold Township last Friday.

“This is an active PSP (Pennsylvania State Police and) WCDTF (Warren County Drug Enforcement Task Force) investigation that will provide its findings to my office,” District Attorney Rob Greene said on Monday.

“This investigation will stay active and there will be no comments by my office until said investigation is complete and reviewed thoroughly by myself and my team.”

The Times Observer has been in contact with the Pennsylvania State Police regarding details from the incident but no details were received by press time.

Greene did confirm that the suspect involved was killed as a result of the incident.

He said Friday that law enforcement and the public were safe in the wake of the incident.
