The Warren County District Attorney’s office confirmed that an officer involved shooting occurred in Warren County Friday morning.

District Attorney Rob Greene told the Times Observer that law enforcement officers are safe and that there is “no danger to the community at this time.”

The incident occurred in Freehold Township.

Greene refused to comment early this afternoon on the condition of the suspect.

He said that Warren County Detectives and the Pennsylvania State Police are leading the investigation.
