The Warren County District Attorney’s office confirmed that an officer involved shooting occurred in Warren County Friday morning.

District Attorney Rob Greene told the Times Observer that law enforcement and the public are safe and there is “no danger to the community at this time.”

Greene confirmed later Friday afternoon that the suspect involved in the incident is deceased.

The incident occurred in Freehold Township.

He said that Warren County Detectives and the Pennsylvania State Police are continuing the investigation.
