American Pickers seek eccentric items in PA

The History Channel’s hit television show American Pickers has announced plans to film new episodes while touring throughout the local areas around Pennsylvania this April.
When the American Pickers series began on Jan. 18, 2010, it was hosted by Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz. However, after suffering a stroke in July 2022 Fritz no longer appears as a host. Since Fritz’s medical issues arose the most recent installments of the show have been hosted by Wolfe and his brother Rob, as well as Jersey Jon and Danielle Colby.
Mike Wolfe and his various co-hosts are interested in locating those oddball collections buried in the back of a barn or deep in the basement/attic that Pennsylvania residents have spent their lives collecting.
“Keep in mind, we are looking for different, unusual, and unique items – something we’ve never seen before with an extraordinary story,” said Associate Producer Joshua Kerlin.
Producers of American Pickers are actively seeking multiple leads for collectors in the area, specifically “interesting characters with fascinating items!” Collectors interested in possibly being featured on an upcoming episode of American Pickers should send an email to AmericanPickers@cineflix.com, or call (646) 493-2184. Individuals should provide their contact information, including their full name, city/state, a brief description of their collection(s) and a photo — if available.
The television show seeks to explore area residents’ hidden treasures — Individuals who own unique items accompanied by interesting stories should contact the show quickly for a chance to have American Pickers visit their home.
According to producers of American Pickers, no specific locations or dates of travel have been made public yet, however they are starting the process to look for what they described as “forgotten relics.” They also noted that the show’s hosts will not pick from stores, flea markets, malls, auction businesses, museums or any business open to the public to sell items.
