Times Observer photo by Josh Cotton Two individuals were detained by Warren County Drug Task Force agents on Monday in the wake of a search warrant that was served at 1000 W. Fifth Ave. Investigators say that the investigation that led to Monday’s raid began in April 2023.

Warren County Drug Task Force agents conducted a raid on Monday afternoon at a W. Fifth Ave. residence in the city of Warren.

City of Warren Police Captain Jeff Dougherty said that a search warrant was executed shortly after 1 p.m. at 1000 W. Fifth Ave.

He said that the raid was the result of a “long investigation” dating to April 2023 and that two individuals were detained for questioning.

Dougherty declined to provide details on what authorities may have recovered as a result of the search and said that investigators were still processing the scene.

No injuries resulted from the incident, which Dougherty said “went very well” and had a “very good operations plan.”

No additional details were available by press time Monday.
