“It’s a Sugar Grove Christmas” is ringing in the holiday season with a bang.
The annual Christmas Walk kicks off with the arrival of Santa Claus – riding a Sugar Grove Volunteer Fire Department truck – at 5 p.m.
“There are many places to visit and enjoy including Sugar Grove Presbyterian Church, United Methodist Church, Free Methodist Church with the OutPost Thrift store where there will be a living window,” organizer Judy Fry said.
Hayrides in memory of Bill Gourley will start at the Borough Building
“On your way to the Borough building stop by the Sugar Grove Laundromat and have the children draw a Christmas prize from the beautiful tree,” Fry said. “While you are in that block (of) town stop and visit the fire department for crafts and food and the Sugar Grove Free Library for local Book signing by Marcy O’Brien, CJ Chase and Eric Smith.”
AMVETS will be serving hotdogs in addition to various restaurants that will be open during the Walk.
“The hub of more excitement is Wilcox Bros. which will have a live Children dancing window this year, Mission Covenant Church; along with a multiple of other activities throughout the store and warming barrels outside,” she added.
“Wilcox Brothers is where you can view and vote for your favorite Decorated Holiday House from within the Boro.”
