Two Warren artists have secured spots in the Northwestern Pennsylvania Artists Association 8th Biennial Exhibition.
The exhibition will be held at the Erie Art Museum.
Warren artists Kimberly Mickelson-Slocum and Tina Guinta Faulkner have been selected for acrylic paintings.
Slocum's submission is entitled "Waiting" and was born during times of isolation during the COVID-19 pandemic.
"Waiting" is part of a series of artworks that includes over 25 pieces.
Faulkner's work is entitled "On the Fifth Day"
"The selection process for the NPAA is no small feat, with artists vying for recognition in a juried show and club," Slocum told the Times Observer. "This honor elevates the showcased pieces, emphasizing the exceptional talent within the regional art community."
The executive director of the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh, Madeline Gent, serves as the juror for this event.
An opening reception is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 16 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and the show will run from Nov. 16 to March 17.
