Plea brings lifetime registration to Warren man

A Warren man will register as a sexual offender for life as a result of a plea entered Thursday morning.

Ryan A. Lindell, 42, entered the plea on charges of indecent assault and corruption of minors before President Judge Maureen Skerda.

According to the affidavit of probable cause, the victim was babysitting at Lindell’s house.

Pennsylvania State Police state that the alleged victim reported that Lindell had given her alcohol before having sexual contact with her in February.

According to the affidavit, the alleged victim had evidence of the assault, including messages from Lindell saying that he was sorry.

She also told police that a similar incident had taken place two years previous, according to the affidavit.

A second alleged victim was also interviewed, according to the affidavit, saying Lindell had done similar things to her more than once.

“By entering this plea, you will be a lifetime (sexual offender) registrant,” Skerda told Lindell.

The criminal information presented in court Thursday indicated that Lindell provided marijuana and vapes to the victim, as well.

In exchange for the plea, charges including three counts of aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault, two counts of corruption of minors and furnishing liquor to a minor were not prosecuted.

Two other guilty pleas were entered in court Thursday.

Kamille L. Highhouse, 54, Sheffield, pleaded guilty to terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment. Charges including two counts of aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment were not prosecuted.

Tyler P. Koller, 24, Painesville, Oh., to DUI and operating a vehicle without required financial responsibility. Nine additional traffic offenses were not prosecuted.
