A Clarendon man is facing felony indecent assault charges stemming from incidents beginning in February of 2013.
According to court documents, Robert Vincent Duckett, 54, of 533 Brown Run Road, Clarendon, faces two third-degree felony charges each of indecent assault of a person less than 13 years of age, corruption of minors and unlawful contact with a minor; and two second-degree misdemeanor charges of indecent assault.
According to an affidavit of probable cause, Duckett "engaged in inappropriately touching" a minor during a period spanning from February 2013 to February 2017 when the child was between 6 and 10 years old. Incidents primarily occurred during very early morning hours in the child's room at various residences in the county.
According to the affidavit, Duckett would touch the minor "with nothing on" and would remove the minor's clothes to engage in touching the child with his hands.
Charges have been filed with the office of Magisterial District Judge Laura Bauer.
A preliminary hearing for Duckett had not been scheduled as of press time Monday.
