A jury returned not guilty verdicts on nearly all charges against a mother and daughter who were charged with proving methamphetamine to two juveniles.
Dotty M. Burke, 47, Warren, and Jamie S.D. Turner, 28, Erie, Pa., faced a jury trial held Aug. 31.
According to online court records, the jury found Burke guilty of possession with intent to deliver but not guilty of two counts of endangering the welfare of children, possession with intent to deliver and corruption of minors.
But Chief Public Defender Kord Kinney told the Times Observer there was "no finding that the delivery was to a juvenile."
Turner was found not guilty on all charges – two counts of possession with intent to deliver, corruption of minors and recklessly endangering another person, online court records show.
Online court records show that Burke faces a second pending slate of drug-related offenses that stem from alleged controlled buys made in August 2021.
