Man facing felony charges for Sugar Grove Twp. burglary
The alleged theft of two four-wheelers has landed a man in jail facing four felony charges.
According to court documents, Brandon Richard Philbrick, 30, is facing second degree felony charges of burglary and receiving stolen property and two third degree felony charges of theft by unlawful taking and criminal trespass following an incident on Hoag Road in Sugar Grove Township Aug. 14.
According to police, at approximately 4:27 p.m., Aug. 14, Philbrick entered a building belonging to John McNutt located at 90 Hoag Road and removed both a Kawasaki and a Suzuki four-wheeler valued at $3,000 and $2,500, respectively.
Philbrick was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Todd Woodin on Aug. 18 and confined to the Warren County Prison after failing to post $50,000 cash bail.
A preliminary hearing for Philbrick is scheduled for 3 p.m. today. No permanent address is listed in court documents for Philbrick.
