Youngsville Elementary School students celebrated a year of Safety, Ownership, and Always Respect on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The SOAR Team and Parent Teacher Organization honored the student body for its school-wide positive behaviors at an 80s-themed Fun Day.
There were projects and games, a bounce house and photography.
Due to air quality concerns, the event was moved indoors Wednesday, cutting down on the number of activities that splash.
But, there were “80s recess games,” a giant Twister competition, and students could have Polaroids taken of themselves in black light.
