Voters decisive in county primary results
Voters left no doubt in their choices during Tuesday’s primary votes for county offices.
It In the Republican race for county commissioner – where two will move on to the fall – Ken Klakamp led with 2,796 votes followed by incumbent Tricia Durbin at 2,173.
Troy Clawson was listed with 1,566 votes in third while Jeff Eschborn, Joe Perrin and Will Champlin were between 600 and 900 respectively.
The contested Republican nomination for sheriff was also decided decisively – Scott Neiswonger had 3,195 votes to Ken Hinton’s 1,569.
For treasurer, Lisa Barr secured a 500 vote win – 2,602 to 2,079 – over Jolean Ishman.
