My Pal and Me adventure season begins this Saturday

The Warren County Conservation District will kick off its My Pal and Me adventure season at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Hatch Run Pavilion.

The first of three My Pal and Me events for the summer will be “Where does your food come from?” and coincides with the Northwestern Pennsylvania Remake Learning Days.

“Kids of all ages, accompanied by their pals (parent, grandparents, adult sibling, or guardian) can participate,” according to a WCCD release. “Participants will learn there is more to putting food on the table than going to the store.”

Penn State Master Gardeners of Warren County will help participants plant vegetable seeds that they can take home and watch grow.

Space is limited. Those interested in participating are asked to contact the WCCD office at 814-726-1441 or smoore@wcconservation.net to register.

The other two My Pal and Me events will be held in June.

Starting at $3.50/week.
