Three individual pleaded guilty in drug cases

Three individuals pleaded guilty to drug-related offenses during plea court on Thursday.

Seth B. Wells, 48, Salamanca, pleaded guilty to a count of possession with intent to deliver.

According to the criminal information presented on Thursday, Wells was found to be in possession of 100 grams — nearly a quarter-pound — of methamphetamine during an incident in November.

Wells had been scheduled for trial on Friday.

In exchange for the plea, charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and two traffic violations were not prosecuted.

Thomas R. Eaton, 32, Clarendon, also pleaded guilty to a count of possession with intent to deliver while a count of possession of a controlled substance was not prosecuted. The incident occurred on July 11 in the City of Warren.

His attorney, Henry Borger, notes that the standard range his client faces is 12 to 24 months incarceration.

Amy S. Lewis, 42, Clarendon, pleaded guilty to criminal use of a communications facility for, according to the criminal information, sending text messages to arrange for the sale of 8.13 grams of meth. The incident occurred March 31 in Mead Township.

Lewis also pleaded guilty to charges of possession of a controlled substance and retail theft while charges of defiant trespass, possession with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia were not prosecuted.
