The Youngsville Heart and Soul Program has a new logo.
Youngsville Borough reached out for submissions -- contacting borough residents and students in sixth through 12th grades, according to Heart and Soul Project Coordinator Barbara Young.
Borough Manager Wendy Wilcox, Revitalization of Youngsville president and Warren County Chamber of Business and Industry director of Chamber Operations John Papalia, and Young recognized Youngsville Middle School student Kinzlea Chase as the winner of the Logo Contest.
"After the submission of numerous logo entries, Miss Chase's design was chosen as the inspiration for the final logo," Young said. "She received a $50 gift card, a framed copy of her logo entry, a framed copy of the finalized logo and a certificate of recognition."
"The Youngsville Community Heart and Soul logo is a way to create a consistent visual identity in the community," she said.
Youngsville Heart and Soul is a non-profit organization designed to encourage positive change in the Youngsville community. "The mission of Youngsville Heart and Soul is to empower people to shape the future of the Youngsville community by improving local decision-making, creating a shared sense of belonging, and ultimately strengthening the social, cultural, and economic vibrancy," Young said. "Youngsville Heart and Soul plans on being in attendance at Island Park Summer Music Events, starting June 2, the Youngsville Fireman's Jubilee in July, and the Youngsville Corn Festival on August 26 and 27."
