Tidioute club tries their hand at fly-fishing

Whether it was their first time picking up a fly rod or not, every student landed a trout.
The members of the Tidioute Community Charter School fishing club visited the Lodge at Glendorn in Bradford to try their hands at fly-fishing.
With help from Glendorn guides, each student plied the waters of the ponds on the property for brown and rainbow trout.
The students - Chris Scander, Logan Sabella, Chris Kenney, Lynsey Arthur, and Arreanna Anderson - proved their aptitudes for the sport quickly, but one of the club's coaches was a little slower. "Every student caught a fish," according to a TCCS release. "It took Chad Buerk, one of the fishing club coaches, the longest to land anything."
"I'm forcing my dad to buy me a fly rod after this," Anderson said after landing a wild rainbow trout.
"I honestly can't believe we were able to do this," Coach Michael Patterson said. "The lodge is gorgeous, and everyone was helpful. I think the kids really enjoyed it, and I can't wait to do it again next year."
