US Forest Service is looking to hire

The US Forest Service is hiring all over the country, including at the Allegheny National Forest.

In a Thursday release, ANF Public Affairs Officer Christopher Leeser said the Forest Service is looking to hire hundreds of foresters and forestry technicians.

“Forester jobs are open for application Feb. 25, through March 7,” Leeser said. “Forestry technician jobs are open for application March 11, through March 21. Jobs are available in a variety of exciting and rewarding locations, including Allegheny National Forest.”

“We are seeking diverse, energetic candidates to help manage the health of the Allegheny National Forest,” Forest Supervisor Jamie Davidson said. “If you are interested in working outdoors, stewarding public lands and serving our local communities, I encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.”
