No new COVID cases reported for three days

It’s been three days since there was a report of a case of COVID-19 in Warren County.

According to the Pennsylvania Department of Health, there have been no new cases since Friday, when there were eight reported. Since then, the county has been holding steady at 7,161 total cases.

The last time there was a day with no new cases in the county was Nov. 28, according to department data.

Between June 18 and July 19, 2021, there were only three cases reported — two on July 7 and one on July 15.

Warren General Hospital is down to two patients hospitalized with COVID-19, according to the department.

There have been two more deaths reported in the past few days bringing the county death toll to 207.
